About Us
The Healing Touch Community in Western Australia is wide spread. We have Practitioners who not only have private practices, but also volunteer their time at Solaris Care, an Integrated Centre for Cancer Support. Solaris Care (www.solariscare.org.au) is located at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital and St. John of God Hospital in Subiaco. Volunteers also work at The Footprints Day Centre Murdoch and the Community Palliative Care Unit Murdoch (sjog.org.au/hospice).
Within the Volunteer practice there is a Mentor Program that is available for students of Healing Touch to be able to come in under supervision and work with the Practitioners as they continue through the levels of Healing Touch classes.
We also offer a Practice and Support Group to students and Practitioners North and South of the river, providing support and encouragement for the Healing Touch community.
Mission Statement:
- Promote the benefits of Healing Touch as a natural healing therapy
- To raise the awareness of Healing Touch to the wider community
- To raise the profile of the Healing Touch Program as an ongoing educational modality
